Dr. Manning and Al Franken

Dr. Manning and Al Franken

Dr. Manning and Al Franken

The overflowing Rochester audience enthusiastically agreed with Al Franken's assurance that Dr. Manning could describe the credit card industry as "greedy bastards." Franken continued that there is only one word that Dr. Manning is not allowed to say on a national broadcast from among George Carlin's legendary Big Ten. During the break, it was learned that this word is Franken's favorite descriptor of a certain FOX spinmeister and Dick Cheney. Of course, like Dick Cheney's famous utterance directed toward a New York Times reporter during the Presidential Campaign, anything goes on the Franken Show AFTER the microphone is turned off!
